Folks cut through our neighborhood to get around the closure. Unfortunately this means lots of cars in a hurry. Most days we are nearly hit by an over-zealous driver. Many are oblivious to the near-tragedy, some are sorry, and others honk.
Why would you honk at a pedestrian who properly crosses the street at a crosswalk after waiting their turn?
Today it was chilly in the A.M. A nice change of pace.
